Papaya Strawberry Banana - Alkaline Breakfast Smoothie

Papaya helps in age-related macular degeneration, asthma prevention, bone health, digestion and diabetics. Papaya is also rich in nutrients, with a delicious taste and helps your skin remain smooth and youthful. It also contains Lycopene which may reduce risks of heart disease and cancer. People in the tropics consider papaya a remedy for constipation and bloating.  

Strawberries are an excellent source of Vitamin C, Manganese and also contain decent amounts of Folate (Vitamin B9), Vitamin K1 and Potassium. Strawberries are also very rich in antioxidants and plant compounds, which may benefit heart health and blood sugar control.

Bananas boost energy and help increase stamina. Bananas are also high in potassium, Vitamin B6, Copper, Magnesium, and Manganese.

*Folate helps in the production of red blood cells.

*B vitamins help the body convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is used to produce energy.

*Vitamin K helps increase the body's production of blood clotting factors in order to treat and prevent unusual bleeding.

1/2 cup papaya, chopped (remove seeds) 

1/2 cup strawberries

1 small banana

1/2 cup hemp milk or coconut milk

2 dates

3 Brazil nuts *Beware, if you have a nut allergy, do not include Brazil nuts*

1 tbsp. agave syrup (optional)

1/2 cup ice cubes 


Add all ingredients along with ice cubes in the blender first, then blend until smooth and fluffy.

Taste and adjust sweetener as desired.

Pour smoothie in serving glass.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
